What inventory covers
Close the gap between the store and the plate.
Multiple stores
Main store, kitchen, bar, housekeeping, maintenance or any other location, each with its own stock and its own keeper.
Issues and transfers
Record every movement between stores and departments, so the cost lands in the right place and nothing goes missing quietly.
Reorder levels
Set a minimum and maximum for each item. When stock falls below, Tivuzo drafts a purchase order for approval.
Stock counts
Run full or spot counts, see the variance per item and approve adjustments with a reason.
Batches and expiry
Track batch and expiry dates on perishables and use the oldest stock first.
Recipes and costing
Link menu items to their ingredients so every sale draws down stock and shows its true cost.
Connected to the back office
Stock that moves with the money.
Goods received
A delivery against a purchase order adds stock and its value.
Issued to a department
Moving stock to the kitchen or bar records the cost against that department.
Sold or used
POS sales and recipes draw down ingredients; amenities are issued to rooms.
Valued in the books
Stock value and cost of sales are always current in accounting.
Inventory questions
Questions about inventory
Can we run separate kitchen, bar and housekeeping stores?
Yes. Set up as many stores as you have, such as a main store, kitchen, bar, housekeeping and maintenance. Each has its own stock levels, and every movement between them is recorded.
How do recipes work?
You link each dish or drink to the ingredients and quantities it uses. When it is sold through the POS, those ingredients come out of stock and the cost of the sale is recorded.
How do stock counts work?
Count a store on paper or on a tablet, enter the quantities and Tivuzo shows the variance against what the system expected. Approved adjustments post to accounting.
